Damnoen Saduak Floating Market

About an hour outside of Bangkok lies Damnoen floating market. Although a bit touristy its worth a visit for the boat ride and Thai food.

We opted for the motored boats for hire, you can take a paddled boat for about have the price. We opted for the motored boats for hire, you can take a paddled boat for about have the price.

Our boat had more than enough power for the narrow canals. These boats are like the long-tail boats on the coast of Thailand.

Market ahead Market ahead

As you get closer you start to see other boats of tourists and vendors selling their wares.

There are places where you can stop and get off to see the market along side the canal. Its also allows you to get photos of the boats passing under the overpass.
